  • You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information in the Service
  • You are solely responsible for interactions with other users
  • You are solely responsible for any outcomes resulting from use of the platform

CareCircle does not guarantee any outcomes related to care, coordination, or support.

4. No Responsibility for User Interactions

CareCircle does not control and is not responsible for:

  • actions, conduct, or statements of other users
  • accuracy of information shared by users
  • outcomes of care coordination or support

You agree that interactions with other users are entirely at your own risk.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareCircle disclaims all warranties, including:

  • merchantability
  • fitness for a particular purpose
  • non-infringement
  • accuracy, reliability, or availability

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • data will be accurate or complete
  • the platform will meet your expectations

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

CareCircle and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • loss of data
  • personal injury or harm resulting from user interactions
  • reliance on any information provided through the Service

TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED:

  • the amount you paid for the Service (which is $0 for free users)

7. User Responsibilities

You agree that you are solely responsible for:

  • all content you share
  • maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Service
  • share harmful, misleading, or unlawful content
  • impersonate others

8. Sensitive Information

CareCircle may have originated in connection with the University of Michigan; however:

  • CareCircle is not an official product or service of the University of Michigan
  • The University does not operate, control, or endorse the Service

The University bears no responsibility or liability for the Service or its use.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution (Arbitration)

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court.

You agree:

  • to waive any right to a jury trial
  • not to participate in class actions
